Cette distinction fête ses 20 ans cette année et concerne les édifices de moins de 100 ans non protégés au titre des Monuments historiques. Elle met en lumière notre héritage récent pour susci- ter une prise de conscience collective sur sa valeur. Une plaque signale les édifices labellisés, et des balades urbaines sont proposées aux visiteurs, les invitant à percevoir la diversité de ces architectures. In all, more than 1,400 buildings from the 20th and 21st centu- ries have been awarded the Outstanding Contemporary Architecture label by the French Ministry of Culture. This dis- tinction, for buildings under 100 years old that are not listed as historic monu- ments, is celebrating its 20th anniver- sary this year. The award aims to raise awareness of the value of this recent heritage.
