THE MOTRIO BRAND 41 With the continued aim of achieving this ambition of being a key global player in after-sale,Renault officially endorsed Motrio in 2018. Considering that the Motrio brand lacked credibility with its B2B targets and there was a lack of awareness amongst its B2C targets, possible synergies with the Renault brand were envisaged: • Rely on the credibility of : - To facilitate IAM repairers becoming Motrio repairers, - To support the qualitative image of the repairers thanks to the Group's expertise. • Make the most of the reputation: - To convince IAM repairers that the Motrio brand will attract more customers to their workshops, - To increase customer visits to the Motrio network. A specific Motrio logo has therefore been created in which the "car care all the way" baseline has been replaced by "Groupe Renault". 1 The association with Groupe Renault adds credibility and improves notoriety but the Motrio brand remains central. 2 Groupe Renault is only an addition to the existing Motrio logo. The strategy of associating the 2 brands remains in the hands of the individual countries for each of their markets and it is up to them to decide whether they want to use this option or not. If they decide to associate the 2 brands, the logo can be used on all communication and marketing materials (apart from packaging of local parts).
