The separated CO2 is then disposed of by injection into a well or liquified and transported to a CO2 disposal hub (eg Offshore C-Hub see separate sheet). Typical Deployment Project experience References The removal of CO2 from gas turbine exhausts (or other combustion equipment) is applicable to most offshore platforms (fixed and floating). KANFA (100% owned subsidiary of Technip Energies) have a compact modularised design for a solvent based system (using Shell Cansolv® amine), with CO2 injection or liquefaction, suitable for greenfield projects or retrofits. KANFA has engineered, built and operated a pilot scale carbon capture and CO2 liquefaction unit for the Klemetsrud onshore waste to energy plant in Norway. Offshore modularised designs have been developed for 6 gas turbines from 17 MW to 100 MW. The KANFA CCS process uses Shell Cansolv® amine.
