Gas & Low-Carbon Energies Gas & Low-Carbon Energies HVS (Heave & VIM Suppressed) semi-submersible TYPICAL DEPLOYMENT TYPICAL DEPLOYMENT project experience project experience references references 2022@TechnipEnergies - All rights reserved • Conventional semi-submersible vessel which reduces motions thanks to its lower hull shape. Reduced motions mean less fatigue on risers and moorings and hence decreased costs. • Capable of supporting dry trees with conventional tensioning systems in mild to moderate environments (WA, GOM, etc.) when frequent well intervention is required. Typical Deployment Project experience References Deepwater/ultradeep water applications where reduced vessel motions are required to support large diameter SCRs without distributed buoyancy and/or dry trees. Conventional semi configuration with integration/commissioning of topsides at quayside results in a lower cost and rapid deployment/start-up. None built to date but multiple studies and model tests. All components of this design are already proven in other applications. The only novelty is the lower hull shape which has a similar steel weight to existing deep draft semi-submersibles.
