Gas & Low-Carbon Energies Gas & Low-Carbon Energies Extendable Draft Platform (EDP) Buoy TYPICAL DEPLOYMENT TYPICAL DEPLOYMENT project experience project experience references references 2022@TechnipEnergies - All rights reserved Technip Energies has designed a deep draft semi floater to simplify the fabrication, transport and installation on site. • The platform comprises an upper deck box, three columns and a lower pontoon with the structure behaving like a deep draft semi-submersible or Spar buoy. • Columns, fabricated with rolled tubulars and minimal stiffening, penetrate the deck; and the pontoon can be positioned just below the deck for construction, commissioning, and towing. Can be lowered at the offshore site like a Jack-up platform. • Has small towing draft and columns. Typical Deployment Project experience References • Unmanned platforms that have small payloads with relatively small motions. • Especially helpful if there is a shallow water depth quayside at the fabrication site and/or needs to be wet-towed over a long distance. Multiple studies and model tests. All components of the design are already proven in other applications like the TPG 500 and jack-ups but with one difference, the presence of a pontoon.
