Gas & Low-Carbon Energies Gas & Low-Carbon Energies Gas FPSO Shipshape TYPICAL DEPLOYMENT TYPICAL DEPLOYMENT project experience project experience references references 2022@TechnipEnergies - All rights reserved Gas FPSOs treat gas offshore, by removing and stabilizing the associated condensate which can be offloaded to shuttle tankers and sold as a liquid product. Dry gas is then pipelined to shore for domestic consumption (grid) or as a feed for an LNG plant. The gas dew pointing process is performed by gas cooling which can be achieved by a JT valve or by a turbo expander (or combination of both). Prevention of hydrates and drying of the gas can be achieved by injection of MEG or for very low temperatures methanol (ie IFpexol). Typical Deployment Project experience References Gas FPSOs are typically deployed in deep water (beyond the water depths for fixed platforms) and where the gas needs treatment for pipelining to shore, i.e. generally from remote fields where an all subsea tie back to shore is not feasible. • Karish - ENERGEAN (EPC). • Tortue - BP (EPC). • Barossa - CoP (FEED).
