Barriles de cerveza, jengibre, salchichas y pollo frito // ENG Kegs of beer, ginger, sausages and fried chicken festival Al grito de O’zapft is! (It’s open!), the Mayor of Munich kicks off the Oktoberfest, a fortnight of merriment, good food and, above all, beer. From 17th of September to the 3rd of October, the brewers of Munich set up their tents in the Theresienwiese Park so visitors can sample their beers, served in one-litre mugs (Maßkrug), accompanied by gastronomic delights such as fried chicken, Alpine cheeses, grilled fish and sweet gingerbread. For the full Bavarian experience, you can hire costumes, so once you’re all dressed up, all you have to do is clink your mugs together and declare: Oans, zwoa, Gsuffa! oktoberfest.de ENG Barriles de cerveza, jengibre, salchichas y pollo frito // ENG Kegs of beer, ginger, sausages and fried chicken
