TITLE TEXT HERE Erith over the years has shown significant support to local charities; including Demelza House hospice for children, The Lily Foundation and The British Heart Foundation. Several of Erith’s employees have completed charitable events such as The London Marathon, London to Brighton Cycle and a Vietnam to Cambodia Cycle. Good causes have been extended locally to the community in Erith with the Erith District Swimming Club the latest recipient. In support of World Autism Awareness Week, Erith made a significant donation to the Helen Allison School in Longfield. The school is a National Autistic Society School that specialises in unlocking the potential of autistic children enabling them to lead the life they choose. The donation went towards improvements to the playground area and associated outdoor equipment. Erith has also supported The Duchenne Family Support Group – fundraising by five-a-side football, “Squashathon” and donating an adapted minibus for outings. Recently Erith has supported Niemann-Pick UK due to personal ties to the organisation and its work. In June 2018, at a fundraising ball organised by Erith, David Darsey, Managing Director, donated a cheque for £10,000 on behalf of the IDE, before presenting a further cheque for £80,000 direct from Erith Contractors Ltd. A further £64,000 was raised during the event. All of these events have been proudly sponsored by Erith in an ongoing effort to make a difference. Good Causes
