Donations from Air France employees contributed to 510 boxes of hygiene and childcare products, toys, blankets, medical products and first aid supplies. They were transported in early April 2022 by a Prevost truck to Tajecina (Poland), where they were distributed to Ukrainian refugees by the Red Cross and Caritas. - Games Room at Le Bourget In partnership with the Fédération nationale de la Protection Civile, we financed and a games room for refugee children at the Le Bourget shelter (games, educational materials, screens, touch-screen tablets, games consoles, etc.). This initiative was made possible by donations from Air France employees. - Travel Kits and Translators The Air France Foundation worked with the non-profit Aurore, which helps people in difficult situations, to welcome Ukrainian refugees. We supplied mattress toppers and Air France pouches with sleep masks, dental kits, socks, toys and cushions. The Foundation financed travel kits for the children and Ukrainian and Russian-speaking translators/interpreters. - Staying in School We supported the NGO Plan International in Moldova, working alongside local non-profits on the Ludobus programme. This initiative gives refugee children access to their Ukrainian school curriculum securely online in community libraries and provides specially equipped accommodation centres.
