A TRIP TO KANSAS, USA Amanda mother of Norah, 5, Charlie, 4, Ada, 2, and Frankie, 6 months old Dressing a baby is one of Amanda’s favorite things to do. As they haven’t developed their sense of style yet, it’s mum who gets to choose! With four daughters, Amanda is an expert in dressing little ones. Her priority is comfort and durability. She wants her children to wear well-made clothes, even organic if possible, so that they can be passed on through the generations and used for their little sisters; her fourth daughter is currently wearing hand-me-downs from her older sisters. Her objective? To always choose gentle, timeless pieces in neutral colors for her daughters. Finally, she Comfort and Sustainability doesn’t forget to combine the beautiful with the practical: when choosing clothes, Amanda keeps in mind that her baby needs to be changed often, sometimes several times a day. For that reason, she tries to choose clothes that are easy to put on and take off. Her favorite pieces include cotton, merino wool and baby alpaca wool romper suits. She also likes comfortable pieces like leggings, wool jumpsuits, linen rompers and knitted baby grows. Her favorite pieces at Smallable: the Bonton knitted jumpsuit, Moumout honeycomb cotton baby grows and Numero 74 linen booties. Not to mention the classic, timeless pieces by the brands Caramel, Fub, Búho and Louis Louise. FOLLOW HER ON INSTAGRAM @AMANDAPAHLS
