COMPLEMENTARY FENCE A light boundary fence may be recommended to complement and optimise the installation. In this case, the infrared barrier must be positioned at least 2 m from the fence and must be at least the same height as the fence. If the 2 m distance cannot be respected, the infrared columns must be more than 0.5 m higher than the fence. For SOlaris ANTI-ICING CAPS It is also recommended to install a cap on each SOLARIS column to conceal the direction of the beams. AUTONOMOUS The above recommendations apply to all SORHEA infrared barriers. For barriers from the AUTONOMOUS range, there are additional instructions. THE SOLAR PANEL SOLARIS operate autonomously, thanks to a solar panel powered battery. The latter must be placed in an unobstructed zone, with maximum exposure to sunlight. If the column installation does not allow for this, the solar panel must be moved. The cleanliness of the solar panel must also be checked and maintained at least once a year. THE RADIO COORDINATOR To optimise radio communication between SOLARIS columns and the radio coordinator, the latter must be installed as high as possible in relation to the columns. IF LESS THAN 2 M DISTANCE, THE INFRARED BARRIER MUST BE 50 CM HIGHER THAN THE FENCE 2 M MINIMUM DISTANCE BETWEEN THE FENCE AND THE INFRARED BARRIER
