2Holy Trinity Cathedral The Holy Trinity Cathedral, inaugurated in October 2016, is the seat of the diocese that comprises the Russian Orthodox parishes of France, Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal. Designed by architects Wilmotte & Asso- ciates, it is topped by 5 traditional bulb- shaped domes made of composite materials – a world first – and covered in 90,000 leaves of gold.
